So I watched a stream for 2,5 hours, managed to get the twitch drop and claimed it. However everytime I start up the Battle.net launcher, all I see is a big blue button saying “Pre-purchase now!”, cannot find an install button anywhere. Anyone experiencing same issues?

Have same issue. Claimed the drop on twitch, my twitch is linked to bnet but it doesn’t appear in launcher.

Above the pre-purchase button there is a button that says game version click it and chose BETA so you don’t “buy” the main game but actually download the beta.

yeah i saw that from others but my problem is that there is no button at corner to change that, only pre-purchase…nothing more

That´s the thing, I don´t see that button, it´s only the pre purchase button, nothing next to it, above or below it. I go to games, I see Diablo 2 beta, I click on it and just sends me back to the screen with the pre purchase only

Did you link ur twitch and ur blizzard account? that is the only explanation either that or you did not recieve the key for some reason and i would contact blizzard support.

Maybe i am totally misunderstand this, but you must pre-purchase the game to be able to play the pre-beta. The official beta testing will start only at August 20. if you do not Pre-purchase you can’t try the betatesting now
P.S.: i totally not understand thi sentence because i do not use twitch " managed to get the twitch drop and claimed it". maybe that is why i don’t understand your problem.
There is an open beta weekend, yes, for the people that pre purchased. But there is also streamers which hand out twitch drops if you watch their stream for 2,5 hours and you get a beta key. So you need to log on your twitch account, connect it with your battle net launcher, watch the stream 2,5 hours, then you will get a twitch drop, you claim it and it should show up in your launcher that you are eligible to play. However, where most people will now see an “Install” button, for me it just keeps showing the button ive mentioned a couple of times already in my previous posts.

I was having the same issue, right above the install button you’ll see a dropdown for “game version” and you need to select beta. As long as your accounts are linked properly and you’ve claimed your drop, you’ll be able to install

only thing that worked for me is making a new account on twitch, linking again my battle net, watch for 2h30mins and get the drop working this time.

I have the same problem since over 12 hours ago. No button to select any beta. Just the prepurchase button. And my twitch account and battlenet account are both linked
