Launcher update issue

I have got this issue again. When I go to the app it says update, when I click it I get a popup saying the below:

Whoops! Looks like something broke. Give it another shot.​
: BLZBNTAGT00000BB8

I have tried scan and repair and the other totally generic things to try and nothing works, the error message is too generic to be of any use and last time this happened I had to spend an entire day reinstalling the game.

Please tell me something can be done and I’m getting very p£*"&*"ed off here. I can’ get into the game while it’s doing this.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the BattleMet app.
