Mass reported for providing Yogg Saron TW skip this week, account silenced for a week

Greetings fellow champions!

Recently, as the title says, I got silenced for providing Yogg Saron skip for purpose of weekly quest completion. I guess many people who are making few coin off of it didn’t like that and they decided to just mass report me.

I’ve tried to reach out to Blizzard via ticket, but unfortunately I’ve got only automatized reply twice. First time I wasn’t even able to appeal silence since I was getting “Error: Page not found”. After I tried again today, I just got same generic reply as I did yesterday. I have a feeling that Game Masters and/or Customer Support, whoever is handling the tickets don’t even pay attention to what is being said in the ticket.

Now before I even opened a ticket, I made sure I inform myself of what I can do and what other players have done who have been sanctioned before. In the following post “https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/mass-reported-for-providing-tw-yogg-skips-account-silenced-for-a-week/1982457” person who had the same issue 2-3 days ago got his silence revoked after further inspection of Game Master. How come we’re having double standards when it comes to the same matter? I would like to add that the link provided in this post was also sent in appeal as a evidence of people getting their silence revoked.

Now my question is; Do we need to always open a Forum ticket in order to get our problems solved?

Read again the 2nd and 3rd sentence of that post you quoted…

A real person needs to verify the game logs before you got silenced.

Finally, “Discussing Disciplinary Actions” is against the Forum Code of Conduct…

If the problems are account or purchase related… the answer is yes. Nothing can be done on the forums.

thank you for your response.

How come it was being discussed on US forum and resolved there? I simply don’t know whom to turn to since I’m “silenced” both on EU and US Forum. As stated before, whoever was the Game Master or person in Customer Support replying they just didn’t even look into the message that was sent…which, unfortunately shows how much they care for their players.

The WoW Customer Support category is somewhat special…

This forum here is for technical support (installation & crashes mostly) on Blizzard’s Legacy Games — old games such as Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

I totally understand that, sorry I didn’t inform myself that much after seeing few posts that were somewhat “game-related”.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid to make another ticket, it’s not even about the silence as much as it is about being “marked” as a person advertising and what not. The only reason I wrote post here was in good faith, probably the same way the OP of linked post did. Unfortunately I’m unaware of how he managed to open a post on the forum since he was silenced like me…the only possible way would be asking one of my friends or making a new account just for this purpose.

I would really appreciate if you have any kind of advice what steps I can take further to resolve this case, that would be really helpful.
