This seems a common issue.
On battlenet I click play, then the button displays ‘playing now’ , but nothing happens.
No error message… nothing. In windows event list I can see an error regarding modernwarfare.exe with execption code of '0xc0000005 '.
I struggled with this for hours without any success.
What I have tried so far (according to tips from others):
-uninstalling citrix
-enabling MW in firewall/AV
-turning off FW/AV completly
-scan-repair
-reinstall the whole game
-reinstall battlenet
-upgrading gpu driver
-using 1monitor instead of dual
-stopping all my background applications
windows10 gtx 1660ti.
Any other idea?
This is ridiculous…
I am a casual player who only plays on friday evenings. All I want to sit down after a week of work and play a bit and that is it. But this game never allowed to that. There were some upgrade 99% of the time,which took 1-2hours. Game crashes , debugging this crap…etc.
And now this…
I feel I should bill activison for my hours of testing/debugging this sh*t.
