MW Update Slow Download

For the third time while downloading a big MW update the speed slows down to 100kb/s-300kb/s. Funny thing is it downloaded normally at first but my pc shut down due to inactivity and when i turned on again, just as i feared it was back to the slow speed of previous updates. This really sucks.

its seems if your in the uk we are having our internet speeds restricted, if u changes with a vpn to another region its fine.
from 100KB/s to 6MB/s

Hi, i tried to use my VPN and get 8mb/s from the USA…about 2.5mb/s from France, so clearly the UK servers have issues.

downloading this game already 6h and still need 20 gb to go! vpn not helping

its been 12 hours, still 31 gigs to go, on steam the download speed is 7-8 mb/s. on blizzard’s thing its 1-100 kb/s. this company is a meme.

shoddiest download speeds possible, it ONLY happens on this launcher and how they dont consider it a serious issue I dont know.

Absolutely ridiculous at this stage. Make a big update, fine, but support the dam thing.

still have to download 42 gb and I started the download when it dropped

I fixed this by switching to beta version, then go into download settings set download limit to 300 then run it for a bit then pause download change region to Asia, Americas, or EU depending on whichever you were on. The go to download settings set download limit to 0 again then resume download

tried this got a little faster for about 3 mins then back to 200 kbs its like im stuck in 1983 with my commodore 64 fucking joke

lmao. It is bad. Really bad but this method worked for me i get 8meg when i do this. Only issue is you have to keep an eye on it because it goes back down. You have to keep redoing it. Other peoples methods work also i guess. Just thought id share it.

I had same problem so i used VPN at New York server and i got from 0.7 to 9mb
