Can’t start this game, Out of memory error, says i am low on hard disc space… there is 5TBs free on that drive, exactly how big is this game?
same here i wounder what the problem might be, ive moved it to a new drive, and done file repair

Same problem here. I have 48Gigs of RAM and about 500 gigs free on the HDD.
Did the scan&repair but that didn’t do anything.
Does Activision even have a QA team?
i tried to look into activision support page: at the end they just say chat with our agent. but then u get
“Chat with an Activision Agent
All our support agents are currently assisting other players. Please try again later”
i will update if i get through on some point.

found a solution which doesn’t make really sense but it works.
1.boot windows in safe mode with network
2.start the game, change fullscreen to windowed fullscreen. save and exit game.
3. reboot windows to normal mode and it works u can as well change it back to fullscreen.

u need to start safe mode with networking!!!
1.press windows button
2. hold shift button and click power button and choose restart.
3. next menu choose troubleshoot
4. then advanced options
5. then choose startup settings
6. reboot and choose option 5. safe mode with networking.
7. load battle.net app. & start the game.
8. change from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen and save & close game.
9.boot in normal windows and it should work.
i hope this is more in detail.

thats the problem, in safe mode it wont connect to blizzard, networking is on
shouldn’t be an issue then u got another problem. with networking normally internet should work and battle.net app works in safe mode i am sure.

the thing is your computer needs to be connected wire cable for this to work a lot of times the wifi cards are not loaded in safe mode. i just remembered that.

Yepp… Game works after going through the Safe Mode.
Also confirm, Same error, but safe mode doesnt fix it. I even changed the configs to Windowed using GeForce Experience. I had to download someone elses files to overwrite the ones associated with my account in order to bypass. – I have 12TB of free space in the array that the game is installed to, and 64GB of Ram, so yeah… I have tons of memory lol
This seems to be in issue with your page file (which is located in storage) not physical memory but don’t expect a fix the Modern Warfare 1 Remaster has the exact same problem from day 1 and is still not fixed 4 years later. Get a refund is the only fix.

Try going to documents/modern warfare/players folder and in advanced options change videomemoryscale to 0.55.
try this guide and see if it help u out …
