I bought Modern Warfare 3 on my Xbox, but now that I’ve switched to playing on my PC, it says I need to buy it again. I’m trying to figure out if that’s actually necessary, or if there’s a way to access the game without paying twice. I’m signed into the same Activision account, so I assumed my progress and ownership might carry over???
No. You need a valid license on each platform you wish to play the game on.
A Game Pass would allow you to play MW III for “free”… sort of. You need to pay for the subscription. Probably not worth it for one game, but… your choice.
MW 3 is currently available on the Blizzard Shop at 50% reduction… until 13 Aug.
