My account was blocked

My account was blocked and they said I violated the code of conduct of Diablo III. I was completely confused. I never teamed up with anyone to play this game, didn’t use accelerators, and didn’t take advantage of bugs. If I was said to have violated the rules when playing Diablo 2 I also admit it because I have played a lot of MODs, but I have never heard of MODs for Diablo III. I am a newbie to Diablo III and can only play Ice Devourer. I am in Spain. Due to work reasons, I I usually play at 3.4 o’clock in the morning European time. It’s not because there are very few people playing at this time and the Internet speed is too fast. I wonder if I should speed up the game. I complained several times and the answer was the same. I like the dark game very much.I have never broken any game rules or game agreement with blizz It helps me get through the most difficult time in my life. I don’t want this old friend to leave like this. I seem to be giving up. Is there anyone on the forum who can give me some advice?

Do you mean a temporary suspension or a permanent ban ?

There isn’t very much you can do… except appeal the penalty… until they tell you to stop because they won’t consider more appeals. You could try to get a bit more info – perhaps they would be willing to tell you the category of the offense – Communication, Naming, Cheating or Behaviour… but it’s up to them to decide what they tell you.

Good luck !

Thanks for your reply. They told me it was permanently closed. The first email said that my account may have been hacked, and the following emails told me that they were correct, but did not explain the reason. One of them said that I had violated rules in Diablo 3, but I thought about it for a week and never realized what violations I had. I’m tired and ready to give up the appeal. Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to Diablo III.

Was it ? If your account was hacked, the hacker might have done some bad things with your account… enough to get you banned – that’s normally what occurs when an account gets hacked. If your account was hacked, Customer Support might be able to verify whether that was the case or not – for example, they might be able to verify whether your IP was the same as normal when the bad things occurred… or whether the IP was for a different location.

They only give a general description of the error… In your opening post, you said:

they said I violated the code of conduct of Diablo III

that could be a lot of things – you can find the in-game code of conduct here: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/42673

That’s why I suggested that you could ask what category you got penalized under…

There is no guarantee that Blizzard Customer Support will be willing to provide that info – it won’t change the end result (your Diablo 3 license will still be banned) but you might have a clearer understanding of what you were banned for.

It’s up to you however… and I can understand why you might say that “Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to Diablo III.”

I registered a new account and prepared to buy Diablo 4 again. As a result, the account was blocked again the day after registration. Complaints are always answered by AI. This account has not purchased the game yet, so there is no possibility of cheating. But that was Blizzard’s response.

Please note that the forum is not the appropriate place for ban discussions. If you want to appeal your ban, please submit an appeal ticket. Please follow the forum Code of Conduct: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/000256989
