after loading the game, an endless update begins with initialization, there are breaks with the inscription “Waiting for another update” although nothing but overwatch 2 is downloaded. I can launch the game through the game files and play safely, but the game with friends is not available due to “Different versions of overwatch 2”. Looked on the Internet - found nothing. I’ve tried Blizzard’s guides and nothing worked. Also i have infinity battle net update agent admin rights requirement.

Try this:
- Some players may be unable to invite their friends or recent players using the Social UI due to an in-game error stating they are on a different version
- Using “/invite” in chat and typing in their battletag is a possible workaround

Overwatch 2 Planned Downtimes and Fixes - October 6, 2022
- 3:00-4:00 p.m. PDT: Servers will be down while we’re rolling out a fix to address some bugs related to account merge, login, and the First Time User Experience. Players won’t be able to access the servers during this time.
- 6:00-9:00 p.m. PDT (approximately): We’re conducting significant upgrades to our databases to address player queues. Players won’t be able to access the servers during this time.
- Additional Updates:
- Players on PC may be prompted to update their client. This addresses some reports of crashes and black screen issues.
