Recently there has been a problem with connecting to Bahrain servers for Persian people living in Iran (asked multiple Persians). I have tested this with and without blocking the ME servers and I still failed to connect to servers sometimes. Every 6-7 games I lose 50 SR just because with the mentioned error (pretty sure it’s ME servers because I see people type Arabic in match chat every time this happens.)
Would be awesome if one of blizzard employees check if it’s from Iran or blizzard ME servers or if there’s a fix for that.

The only way to test would be to ping ths servers from your location, there is a handy test called a MTR Test which can provide some good information: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/27780
This can help us to identify where they problem lies in this case, though you would need to find the IP of the server, how to do this can be found here.

IP address I got from custom game Bahrain servers: 15.185.218.51
So those tests have been extremely useful at least! They clearly show there that something is happening with your connection to the OW ME servers, sadly it’s not something on our end in this case as it seems to impact your entire connection.
We would have to refer you to your ISP in this case who would need to take a look into what could be causing the issue connecting to those servers. It could be there is a known issue.
I’m living in Iran and let’s be honest my ISP will not be any help. I do not ask for you to fix it for me either do not get me wrong but can you tell me how do I still get forced to connect to ME servers even though I am blocking the Bahrain IP/server from firewall learnt from this post?
