OW2 feels diferent. is it just me?

I was never a top notch player.
But i remember playing OW1 and having over 50% win rate in total.
So i wasn’t too bad either.

But i tried OW2 now and i lose a lot.
And not in a “oh they did this and that, so they outsmarted us”
More like a “it is raining bullets from all directions, oh we’re dead”.

It feels like the game has gotten way more fast paced and aggressive.
And the more aggressive team snowballs and wins.
Every win has been a steamroll, and every loss also a steamroll.
Feels like there’s no room or time for strategizing, or adapting to an enemy move.

Anybody else got the same feel?

They decreased the shields in the game - Orisa lost its shield completely, Reinhard gots its shield decreased from 2000 to 1200, not sure about the rest of the shields, but i think they have decreased too. So if there are less shield you get shot more often.
I can agree that it is a slightly different game, not necessary a better one, but different for sure.
