So basically after logging 2hours in OW2 as a support player I as a casual player can say you royally flunked this game. I wont be playing support any more and probably not stay on playing overwatch 2 either.
With only 1 tank on the field it is now only a shooters game instead of a teams game. WIthout the dmg mitigation the support role has very little effect on the game.
In OW1 you could win games because you outhealed the opposition. This is not the case in OW2. The dmg taking is simply put it constant and if the dps is at a disadvantege to the other dps, there is nothing you can do too change that since they cant get a breather.
Almost everygame I have outhealed all the other healers but im still only too win 3 games so far. Support cant basically effect the game to the same extent anymore. R I P overwatch. Yeah you shortened down ques so everyone can play dps more often but you basically dulled down the game to only shooting. the game feels wastly different as support now since all my focus is ducking shots and line of sighting enemies while healing and not at all in synergi with the team. its so sad.

I do feel the same, since now its 5v5, there is the tank missing, that can handle incoming dps to protect the healer if your dps is just worse than they are and die. it was a more tactical herobased shooter with i high skill cieling, since every role was clear, and now its almost like in the old day where it was shield tank or troll, bnut now we have 1 less shield tank with orisa and also only 1 tank at all, tanks like winston do imo not work anymore, since they were made to deal with annoying widows etc. now if they do that, their team just dies. Please blizzard, just give back quickplay 6v6 queue, i dont even want rolls, this game now just feels so bad, way more like a fps than a hero based shooter, and for fps i can play better games.
it feels like there is no balance at all heroes like Zarya are completely overpowered and dominate almost every match. It’s just ridiculous that especially fighting this hero feels like fighting an immortal. Plus the damage from most of the tanks and heals (for example Moira) feels way too high seeing a tank almost easily leaving any dps in the dust in terms of damage.
