on the us forums someone already replied, its a know issue, waiting on a fix, or atleast an update.

No. It appears to be related to an update to the Bnet app. They are digging into it to get that corrected.

From what I can see it is impacting folks who have War Within. If you have just the standard WoW, with only the built in expansions, or you have Midnight already, I don’t believe those are impacted.

same here, I can’t find the WOW 1 EU server anymore, seems like it is completely gone

But if you start WoW2 EU and open the game, it will open character creation screen, after u go escape and logout of it and you will be able to login at WoW1 from Game screen.
I’m having same problem with battle net, don’t know why. I tought I was being hacked…

I’m having the same problem - it started after the automatic download of the pre-release as an hour before I was playing ok :slight_smile:

Tried to edit the config.wtf file as mentioned in the link :

  • Found the “SET portal US” line, changed it to “EU” value => no change, and value was reverted to the “US” value
  • No “SET accountList” line into my config.wtf file

Try this until they fix the issue.

Here is what I just did to access my EU license:

Open the CONFIG.WTF file found within your WTF folder.
Edit this line: SET portal “US” to say SET portal “EU”
Then when you click the WOW.EXE file to launch the game, it should load up your EU version.

But be aware, the realms appear to be offline – or at least mine did.
