Problems with Authenticator complete ignorance from support

There is a problem with access to an account that requires an Authenticator, but the only phone that had it was lost. How can I restore my account now if verification requires a non-existent Authenticator?
And also complete ignorance from support on this matter.
It’s terrible that such a company treats this so negligently…

You can apparently ask Blizzard to remove your authenticator – I don’t know how that works because I’ve never had to do that. You’ll find a Support article about that here – I believe that you will need to submit a ticket to have the authenticator removed :


You may get an e-mail from Blizzard asking for additional information. If you do get such an e-mail, do not reply to the e-mail – the e-mail is usually sent from a no-reply e-mail address and that address is not monitored. Instead, create a new ticket, provide the ticket number of your first ticket (so Blizzard can link the 2 tickets) and provide the information requested in the e-mail.
