Promised Currency Change not taking place

On the 23.01.2024 The 23rd of January 2024 Blizzard Entertainment sent out an email to players that the currency for our region will be changing from EUR to BGN our local regional currency.

In the email they made an official statement that this change was supposed to happen no sooner than 30 days from the date of this notification (the provided above date of the email being sent out). As it happens this change was not applied to accounts in our region and blizzard support are issuing statements that they do not have any information or dates when a currency change can possibly happen.

This are misleading and false advertising that are direct violation of European Customer Protection rights. Are there any other region where blizzard promised this change and did not take action?

Dear Support,

I have noticed that prices in the Battle.net shop are displayed in CZK, even though I never requested or enabled such a setting. Not only is this change inconvenient for me, but I also couldn’t find any option to switch it back to EUR.

I request that my prices be displayed in euros again, as they were before. If this change was applied automatically, I expect an option to choose the preferred currency in the account settings.

Please address this issue promptly and provide a solution.
