Proposal to Add 10 Player Option for Mythic Raids

Dear Blizzard Developers,

Hello. I’ve been a long-time player of World of Warcraft and wanted to share a suggestion that’s been on my mind for quite some time.

To be honest, I initially tried to find a proper way to directly submit this feedback to the development team through Blizzard’s official channels, but I wasn’t able to locate a clear method. So in the end, I decided to post it here instead.

My suggestion is simple but meaningful: please consider allowing Mythic raids to be accessible in a 10 player format.

Currently, Mythic difficulty is locked to a fixed 20 player size. While this may have worked well in some contexts, it poses a major challenge for many players, especially those in their 30s to 50s who have careers, families, and limited time to coordinate large groups.

My guild, for example, is a small but tight-knit group. We’re successfully clearing Heroic raids, and we would love to attempt Mythic content as well. However, we are held back not by a lack of interest or skill, but by:

-Language barriers,

-Roster limitations, and

-A strong desire to raid only within our own group, not through Pugs.

If Mythic content could once again be offered in both 10 and 20 player formats, or at least support more flexible group sizes, it would bring major benefits:

-Greater accessibility for small and consistent guilds

-A better balance for working adults and family-oriented players

-Reduced burden on raid leaders to manage large rosters

-Stronger participation from international and non-English speaking communities

-Increased retention of loyal, long-term players

While modern gaming trends lean toward fast-paced and competitive environments, WoW stands apart for its deep roots and mature, loyal community. Many of us are no longer in our teens or twenties, but we still love Azeroth and want to experience all of its content meaningfully and on our own terms.

Please consider this proposal seriously. A 10 player Mythic option would help bridge the gap between dedication and feasibility for many players like us.

Thank you for continuing to build and maintain the world we love so much.

Sincerely,
Erin
