Hi all. Just started up a character for the Legion: Remix event (Nightborne DK). was able to create them fine, name wasn’t in use etc. Logged in, spoke to first quest giver and weirdly couldn’t play cinematics for some reason. However, was able to take quest to speak to Khadgar, but upon speaking to him it kept saying quest failed. After clicking many times I ran in to Dalaran and killed a couple of felhounds but was unable to loot their corpses as item was busy. It then d/c’d me, and after getting back on, I tried to load my timewalker but it said a character with that name already exists, so I tried to delete them as only just started but it said character deletion failed!! I just wanna play Remix! Any help? Tried restarting PC but no help.

Same here. After eternal loading screen, I killed the WoW process and attempts to log back in to the char i get “a character with that name already exists” message.
I’m getting the same thing on Retail
