Silenced for language

Hi there,
does anyone here know how much time when u get silenced for innapropiate language?
Thank you!

How long the penalty will last? I think they send you a mail with some details.
Try not to say anything ingame next time. People might get their feelings hurt. Even when you are trying to be nice

should people be silenced if something they say makes someone “feel” a way? ridiculous in my opinion. if you mess up a dungeon and i call you an idiot why do you cry and report me for it? y’know? all that while we have some very iffy naming choices which dont seem to cause offence to these sensitive souls.

welcome to woke culture in the most non-woke community, that being gamers, ever.

Dude this company is dead, why do you think they selling to Microsoft?

Is that sad. I got banned for making one random insult to a person in a language he can’t understand. It wasn’t even an insult meant to cause harm; it was just a reaction to losing a race to… a mining vein. Wow… I received a 7-day ban for it. It’s quite remarkable; I wasn’t even silenced. And once again, after appealing, I received the most impersonal response. This philosophy is harming the company 100%

What makes you think they didn’t understand your insult?

I’m pretty sure you accepted the Social Contract at least once (else you’d be unable to log in). If something unimportant like an ore vein makes you write insults into the chat, I have a feeling you might want to spend some time for anger management (e.g. restraining yourself to cursing in front of your screen) to avoid this “problem” in the future.

In addition to agreeing to the social contract, the code of conduct for Blizzard games can be seen here:-

The duration of a silence or suspension for inappropriate language in online games can vary depending on the game and its policies, as well as the severity of the violation. Game developers typically have their own terms of service and rules of conduct that outline the penalties for inappropriate language and behavior.
