Turn Off or Disable "What's New?"

Another day, another barrage of useless ads and popups on every application possible. i don’t think i have to explain how bad websites are, but with battle net you have to close “what’s new” twice a week just to play games you own? every site, every app becomes more unbearable as people push these intrusive turds pushed by executives. i don’t care about diablo four new seasons. i don’t care about new overwatch collabs or seasons. i don’t care about new WoW expansions.

how do i turn this trash off? let me boot up the game i paid for and stop trying to sell me stuff.

just an fyi i am going to post this same thread every single time i have another “what’s new” popup without an answer to my question

This is becoming increasingly annoying - every time you exit the game and reopen battle.net application, you get that pop-up.

I searched around (there were some TCP-based workarounds, which do not work anymore) but there is nothing I could have found. Is this just a forced-advertisement now or is it a bug in an app?

BUMP here too, i pay to play your games, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHAT I SEE OR NOT!

yes a bump, no wonder nobody buys their games through their launchers. This is such typical windows / android app garbage. I also don’t give a f about your call of duty garbage. I really don’t. If wow was available through Steam I’d use that and never look at this garbage ad invested launcher again.

Steam has an option to disable release notes pop ups. Why can’t battle.net figure it out too? Also have a “don’t show again” button for the annoying message of the day pop ups too. Don’t we know already that pop ups for websites are annoying enough?
