Unable to Launch WoW Classic After Latest Update (MacOS 15.4)

Issue Summary:

Hardware: Mac device

Steps Taken:

Followed all troubleshooting steps from Blizzard’s official support article.

Uninstalled and reinstalled both WoW Classic and Battle.net.

Reset all game options to default.

None of these steps resolved the issue.

Request for Investigation:
Since this issue appears to be an incompatibility between macOS 15.4 and WoW Classic 1.15.6.59415, I request Blizzard to:

Verify if other players using macOS 15.4 have reported similar issues.

Confirm if the latest WoW Classic version has been tested on macOS 15.4.

Provide a timeline for any potential fixes or workarounds.

Impact:
I exclusively play WoW Classic, and my subscription remains active despite being unable to access the game. Please provide an update on this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you for your assistance.

I have the exact same problem. I can’t access a single thing, which was after hours of trying many things for it not to crash. Is there a remedy to this? I just bought the game, and it’d be a shame to cancel my subscription after 1.5 hours of gameplay.

After 2–3 days, I also checked the beta version of macOS (15.5). Installing it didn’t help — the issue persisted even after the update. However, the problem eventually resolved itself after some time. Unfortunately, I still don’t know why I was unable to launch the game for days, but at this point, I’m able to play normally again.I didn’t receive any direct technical support from Blizzard.

I am still at:
WoW Classic Version: 1.15.6.59415
macOS Version: 15.5 Beta (24F5042g)

Just a reminder: installing a beta version of the operating system is risky and I don’t recommend doing it unless you really know what you’re doing.
