Hi everyone / Blizzard tech guy (or girl),
I tried to do an update for my WoW client today. Unfortunatly, it doesn’t work.
I have this error code : BLZBNTAGT00000BB8
So I followed all the instructions on the article linked to that problem, but it still doesn’t work. And I don’t know why, the game worked perfectly fine yesterday …
What should I do ?
Thanks a lot, and have a nice day !
Hi,
Does this post and the next blue post under it help ?
(it’s for Overwatch but it should apply to WoW also).
If that doesn’t work… I’d say you have two alternatives:
- Post in the WoW Tech Support forum, describe the issue and the troubleshooting you have attempted, and ask for help; or
- Reach out to Blizzard Customer Support with a ticket, describe the issue and the troubleshooting you have attempted, and ask for help.
If you go the ticket-route, you’ll have to include both the DxDiag and MSInfo files; that can be done directly from the ticket form.
If you go the forum-route, I suggest you include only the DxDiag file… and the file will likely be too big for the forum. So it’s best to upload that file either to some cloud space you have or to a website that will host text files (https://pastebin.com/ is a very good one – easy to use and optional free signup)… then you’ll need to put the link in your post. If the forum software balks and informs you that you can’t post links, then you’ll also need to convert the link to preformatted text by highlighting the entire link and click on the </> button (button # 6) at the top of the composition window.

This forum is for providing feedback and suggestion on the Battle.Net Desktop App, aka the Launcher… it’s not an appropriate forum for requesting help on WoW.
Good luck with this !
