My WoW update has been stuck on “queued” for 30 minutes and despite all my attempts it wouldnt start updating. i tried ending the update manager in the task manager and even some weird ass CMD shit bt nothing worked.
at some point after 30 minutes it started to “initialize” at a speed of 1 KB/s.
Takes ages to initialize 109MB’s that way.
We just want to play some games, not fiddle around with that BS.
I’ve seen some other threats were “tech specialists” tried to gaslight people into believing its a problem ontheir end despite thousands of different cases being presented.
Fix your stuff man, for the love of god. Steam manages, why cant you?

While mine is not stuck at queued, it took 3 hours to download the 350 MB patch while saying “initialise” and just now started a 1.48 GB Patch at 5 KB/s.
FIVE.
I have 200 MB/s download speed, everywhere else.
Seemingly there isn’t enough timegating ingame, now they force you to dial-up speed for downloads.

Hey man, when this happens to me. I leave BNET app running and then load up a VPN. It seems to reroute traffic and break the stall on update / download. Try it out, maybe it will work for you too.
