Click on Multiplayer for Vanguard and it freezes on PC . Can play Warzone ok then tried to switch to Vanguard MP to play and it still freezing . Broke ? Any solutions please .

Same issue with me. I can play all my other COD games but not Vanguard,
Gets to the update screen then back to play.
I have the same problem
As soon as i click on multiplayer it locks up
And i have to go to process manager to shut it down
if you start single player or zombies quit out and restart it will work

yeah , can start it up from quitting zombies , will try campaign next . But why is it like this ? (Campaign also can start after quitting)
Same issue on PC for me. I launch Multiplayer and when I click on Vanguard it freezes,

Uninstall and re-install lets me play the game once.
Then it freezes again
exact same after season 2 update freezing as soon as you click multiplayer …
Same here, keeps on freezing after intro and try to go to multiplayer
I’ve tried everything…DDU, uninstall, different SSD’s, running on administrator and it continually freezes on multiplayer and like others have to end process. Has anyone managed to log this with Activision? It is driving me nuts and their support is not the best :0(

oh! every other game that I own works fine only Vanguard. It works on Campaign and Zombies. Quitting out of Zombies or Campaign to multiplayer does not work.
To add more fuel to the fire…when I run Vanguard on my normal system…I get a something is wrong do a scan and repair. This tells me nothing is wrong. Run the game again and get the same scan and repair message. I was able to get it running on administrator but now I’m getting the freeze when I click on multiplayer. Looks like I might have thrown my money away with Activision yet again!!!

Same thing here. Worked once when run in safe mode. Then ran without and froze again, then safe mode second time did not work. Extremely frustrating when you sit down to play and are excited about playing the new maps, and the game simply will not work.

It worked for me
I found a temporary fix. Open your Blizzard Battle.net Launcher. Open the Vanguard Pane. Click the settings cog next to the Play Now button. Click Game Settings. Check the radio box for Additional command line arguments. enter -d3d11 in the command line arguments. (’-d3d11’ enables Direct X 11 mode in the game). Click Done then Play Now. After trying that the game booted up first try for me. Hopefully this works for others.
This is annoying but the fix that works is to click on zombies, let it fetch your online profile, go back and then get into multiplayer. You can go to campaign and then to zombies just to be safe. Annoying but 100% works.
Le jeu est totalement boguer depuis la dernière mise à jour. Impossible de jouer plus de dix minutes sans que ce putain de jeu crash . Ca fait 3 jours que je ne peux pas jouer, et j’ai beau signaler le problème je reste sans réponse de la part de ces fumiers! Même leur assistance est bogué, je ne peux pas envoyer le message après avoir passer toutes les étapes! Impossible donc de leur envoyer le DxDiag et le MSInfo avec les captures d’écran! Une belle bande d’incapables travaillent dans cette entreprise! Merci Activision de prendre les joueurs pour des cons
