Veterans perspective for how to make WoW great again

  1. Focus content on the character/player’s back story.
Characters depending on starting area/race/character choice would give utility skills that are available outside of combat.
  2. A new hero/player is welcome to join the ranks of Mythic raider progression. However, Veteran players who have played previous expansions have a permanent buff to their character. I say this for 3 reasons.
    A. This is an incentive to increase play time with the player base. (a HUGE driving factor for investors and stock prices.)
    B. Veteran players are rewarded for their loyalty to the game. Hell it might be enough to make some come back.
    C. This gives incentive to new players to go back and invest time in old content. DO NOT MAKE THEM PLAY THE ENTIRE CAMPAIGN. Have a short 20 -30 quests MAX that water down the most important parts of each expansion.
If the player does more than what is required then give them cosmetic rewards. Warlocks are rewarded for spending time in the blasted lands. Druids in the Dream Grove. ECT. By doing this allow them to flavor their character even more. What if I was a balance Druid in Classic but through my desire to protect the grove I went Guardian for Cataclysm. That’s why my Bear form glows. My Character should be reflected through the choices I make and I should not have to be playing Generic under leveled Druid number #72339 going into Shadow’s within war’s or what ever expansion number 18 will be.
  3. Continue monetizing skins in the bliz shop. It is FAR too lucrative not to be done. HOWEVER, End of quest line cosmetics could be completed and shown in either an armor style or ability reskin respectively.
  4. I COULD NOT CARE LESS about the cosmic deity’s farting on each other and arm wrestling over which realm is more powerful or what ever. Make me care by giving me a choice. I will get so much flak for this next comment if anyone reads it. But part of the character development for Arthas is that he went from a boy. One barely allowed to go anywhere without an escort and forced to train under a paladin. To making a choice of his people or his kindness/softness. He is forced to sacrifice either his friend or his people once more when he is given frostmourne.
  5. Invade Azeroth. Shadow, Chaos, Death, Life, Light and order all take strongholds in Azeroth. The player is forced to make a decision on which side to infiltrate and try to assist from within. And make it an all out war with all factions. Alliance and Horde might be friends. Cows and blue people have all strip in Goldshire if they want. But the forces mentioned above are ripping the world apart and I want to be able to enjoy that from any character. Plus it would allow more content where you as a horde member go back to defend the elven tree or what not. Again more content. This is something that might get more people to come back where they allow you to play a night elf in Orgrimmar.

Nice list but totally in vain because this forum is exclusively dedicated to collecting feedback on the Battle.net launcher app.
