I was playing the Orc Campaign, get to the mission to save Garona and destroy Northshire Abbey. After completely clearing the map and saving Garona (I can now move her), my mission didn’t complete.
Checking online, I found that you had to get her to some arrows. What arrows?! Found a scr shot of the arrows, but on my map, there were no arrows. After switching to original graphics, lo and behold, ARROWS! Did the arrows not want to be remastered?
Hello:
You seem to be the only one currently with that problem – no mention of it on the America forums.
Check the usual culprits ??? Drivers, updates, background apps…
If you can’t figure it out, you may want to report this as a bug… provide details on your OS and version, your GPU card and the driver you are currently using…
The forum for reporting Warcraft I and II seems to be here:
You aren’t alone, I also had the same issue. No arrows in the remaster graphics, arrows in the original.
You don’t need arrows here. The mission tells you to return Garona safely, and of course, it means that you just need to go as Garona to the entrance where the mission begins. In the original game maybe it wasn’t clear and arrows helped to understand what to do to end this mission successfully, but here you can see the list of tasks
I have the same problem with the remastered bug. Saying that you don’t need arrows is not helpful and is apologia for an obvious bug. The visual aid being absent when playing a different graphics mode needs a fix. Please take your smug superiority complex and go elsewhere. For the rest of us we want this piece of art to be bug free.
“you can see the list of tasks” is not true at all. “return her to the entrance” is not in the objectives, “save” to me means just get to her. plus “destroy the abbey” is completely misleading as there is nothing to destroy.
