Why am i always at 1000ms+ in overwtach

recently my ping in overwatch is always very high and i think it is a problem with the game because i have tested my network and its fine and i have also tested it in other games but they work fine so the connection problem is only in overwatch and im coming to forums to see if anyone else had this problem and to find a fix.
