Hi!
Just when I had sold a lot of items on AH in Wow Classic [talking thousands of gold, due to my guild dropping and moving on to SL so all my Arcane Crystals ended up on AH] I had computer issues and needed to send it to warranty and get a new one. Long story short - I didn’t log back on to check my mailbox in over 30 days and my mailboxes are now cleared. I try the support tool “Mailbox recovery” which is intended exactly for this kind of situation however I only get my retail character list, even if I open the support tool via the ingame support interface in wow classic. Does this mean that this feature is not availible in Wow Classic or is there a way for this in Classic as well?
Hey Furyier,
This system does exist for Classic WoW characters, however you need to select the “World of Warcraft Classic” option when selecting a category. You can find a link to the option here.
Please do keep in mind that there are limitations to how long deleted items or mail can be restored for. The mails you will see on the website will be the same which our Support Team can see. If the items are not listed for you, a Game Master will not be able to recover them either.
Hi Xorthonus,
Thanks for the reply. I don’t know why it didn’t work when I chose ‘classic’ yesterday but with your link it worked.
I have now recovered most - one item was marked yellow as a warning sign and couldn’t be picked - 500 gold received from COD. But most of the gold and items is recovered, thank you.
BRg,
Stefan
