"Your rendering device has been lost!" Error in overwatch 2 caused by Discord

I’ve been getting this error a lot when in discord calls and playing overwatch with friends. NOTHING i have tried has fixed it, so far i have

  • Excluded OW2 from my anti-vius
  • Updated drivers and my PC
  • Verfied my game files
  • Turned off discord overlay
  • Checked for overheating
  • Compared specs with minimum requirements ( i have a gtx 780 which isn’t great but above the minimum of a 600)

I know for a fact discord is causing this because the game never crashes while it’s closed. Does anyone know how i can fix this?
