2.4 Auradin is Over powered and bad for the game

I’ve slowly being building my Paladin from the start of Resurrected. I started out with vengeance, progressed to a dreamer and then went full Auradin. All self found, relatively balanced and satisfying to play. I’ve just taken my level 98 Auradin out in 2.4 and it’s now completely over powered and boringly so. In anything but full games, I virtually dont have to bother swinging my sword or charging. All I have to do is walk past stuff and it more or less drops dead without a thought, whoever considered these changes to be balanced needs their head looking at ! Prior rto 2.4, I had to think which monsters I left for my auras to damage and where to focus my melee, dependant on their individual resistances, but now it’s completely brainless. This is just ridiculous, regardless of how expensive the build is, it doesn’t justify making it this powerful, as kids will just buy the runes anyway. I’m just one Auradin, imagine a whole bunch of kids running around with this build in cows or baal runs! It will make hammerdins look like a fun and engaging build. Come on, give me a break.

who cares that a build or another is overpowered since this game has no end-game and no chance to “benchmark” a build?
e.g. D3 has Greater Rifts where you can exactly see how a build perform vs other builds.

that’s what i said too, foh+holy bolt is completely broken as it is now like bone spear + spritit combined, totally no brainer. Hmmerdin was balanced since u had to fully invest on hammers to make it hit hard, now this is just instant kill all nonsense.

Lol, foh is shit against anything that is not undead or demon. It is very restricted in which area you can use it.

You never seen a full Amazon in cows lmao, you havent lived

any build should be overpowered and booring with maximum gear. if not its a bad game design. however D2 as many similar games are about the path not the destination. and with D2 relative low content(its a old game) the route can be shorter if you trade alot or just are OP at the game. remind you acculy how many hours you put into self farming that, and then say. how would avarage Joe do this. the answer is, far less good.

i made a test char and finished the game around lvl 83 with switching to FOTH from holy fire around lvl 33 after farming 2 spirits and insight. FOTH Sux at clearing the game. and with what i would consider very good gear at ending game (+9 combat skills) the damage is not good. mechanicly the skill + holy bolt are amazing but the output is really not good. with this setup +3 player hell the monsters die to slow. the skills have to low base damage and scaling. only real way i can see making it a good build is to make it hybrid with smite for killing hard stuff. for a league start without gg gear ready in bank and playing solo your gimped way behind alternatives.

If you dont like it, then dont play it, and let the paladin be the way it is. Its finally nice that another build than hammerdin is working. It should have been this “powerfull” a long time ago. Its your mindset and complains that in worst case can make it result in unnessesary nerfs. Many build needs some power to farm hell, and it finally happens.

I care, the invasion of op tele pala in a open diarun is really a big downer!
The hdin is bugged, but what is the excuse for that op pala build?

You should at least have to hit things, not just walk near them. Come on…
