“Failed to get online characters. Try again”
Here for the same reason. Did the latest update then no online characters.

Same here, when i m logging in to the game after todays Patch / server maintenance only offline characters show up. All online characters in D2R are gone!

I have the same problem.
A 100% bonus as goodwill for a botched patch would certainly be appropriate here
I could create a few games after update.
Then i couldnt create games anymore so i decided to restart my Router and my Pc.
After it tells me couldnt load online characters.
I want my money back!!!
Same here. It is most probably bugs in the new patch that is causing this.

same issue here, today was my first time launching the game after purchase. greeted by a non functioning online service. this brings me back to D3 launch error 37
Same problem here restarted rebooted nothing helped
EU server 2 seems to be down, but not even blocking its IP works - there is then no lag/black screen between the start banner and loading the main interface, but there still are no online characters - different error message though: “make sure you are connected to the internet.”
Every update the same fun and games ^^
