I’ve been playing a lot recently (as i guess a lot of others are) and i havent seen even a single time “SOJ SOLD TO MERCHANTS”
I would love to have the chance to be online to get an Anni, but my eu server doesnt seem to be selling any at all… so the question is, am i missing something?
And yes, im playing in Hell difficulty games online

apparently a group of people opened DClone games and sell access to the games to people (2 SOJs access)
So this is the most stupid mechanic i have ever seen because apparently the games are still IP based and if you are located e.g. in america and Dclone spawns on EU and you change location to EU, it doesn’t work. You need to set your VPN to EU and then change to EU.
There is just no way of knowing when Dclone spawns etc. and apparently people already making this a business opportunity however they found out how many SOJs you actually have to sell.
Seems kinda fishy and maybe leaked information what to do to spawn it?
you dont need a vpn. just click right from region. here you can set the region and play there.
in the closed beta as the eu server was down for hours i switched this way easy to na. i dont use a vpn at all.
also. it is the old code. so there is the same trigger for DC. you need to sell between 75 and 120 sojs to trigger the event.
on the good old days there was a high active user site. they wrote everytime a soj was sold and also resettet the counter after diablo spawned.
i dont know if it gives for remasterd at this time. also i dont know if the old way to know on wich ip you are works.
but to the other you wrote.
you need maximum 120 sojs to tigger the event to 100%. so if you sell 40 and is triggerd ok. if not you sell until he comes.
i dont know if i can post links. so i would say use google and search for diablo clone or uber diablo. then you find everything you need to know about. how to get him. how to beat him and so on.
no if you just switch regions you apparently are not on the same IP games as Dclone.
YEs you play on EU servers but cannot get into the Dclone games. Why? no idea.
well ok if it is the same as before. Still weird that people organizing these guaranteed Dclone IPs. It seems that not all games will spawn Dclone and it is still base on an IP
this has nothing to do with vpn.
in d2 original they had for a region lets say (can remember the full amount) 20 server.
every time you created a game you was switched random of one of this server.
so maybe your ip was server 1.
the clone was spwaned on server 2 you got nothing.
so if you ppl payed in. the one with the rings told 30min - 1hr before he sell the rings the guys wich server he will spawn him.
so maybe server 3.
now all ppl who know server 3 will spawn the Dc in 30min they begann. create game. check. server 1.
leave game. new game. check. server 15. leave game
new game. check. server 18. and so on.
the moment they reached the ip for server 3 they waited until the sojs got sold and the DC spawned.
but as i told. i dont know how it works in d2r. i dont know if they have different server and how yuo chek if youa re on the right one. atm i havent the equip and char to do a DC. this is why havent read it so far.
later in few days/weeks i will chek for this

you can read their guide on d2jsp. They explicitly state you need a vpn if you are not located physically in EU.

I would like to know more about the possibility to get an anni. Till now i didn’t saw one time the message from sold sojs.
Of course, a soj is much worth atm. But i think to sell a soj to get an anni would be a good trade. So we need just 73 - 119ppl more thinking like me. The followers of MrLlama will do it.
About the vpn and servers.
Before release Blizzard said that there is a global server, so everybody can play with everybody. It is half truth i think. Y, after click and change region from eu to us i can play with us friends. But am not sure if they can play with me while i am on eu and.they are on us. We have to check it.
And about vpn topic. I think it’s not just done with changing the ip or server, becaus while the last shutdown it was just to all eu accounts. But not us accounts. So the server (us/eu) didn’t mattered.
Not just the actual ip matters, the ip from where u created your account matters too.
Or am i wrong/misunderstood something?

Before release i read a blizz article which mentioned that offline/solo players just have to sell ONE soj in hell difficulty for the spawn of u.dia.
