Are using this mods allowed?

Hello,

I was reading an article on mods being created for this game. In that I came across two that interested me:
Better SP - An expanded inventory mod
D2R Drop Mod - An increased item drop rate mod

I see it is mentioned by author it’s only for offline play but I just wanted confirm here if it was officially allowed for me to use mods on my offline character and that it wouldnt cause any issues with my online character in the form of a suspension or infraction of some kind.

Didn’t tried it for now, but in D2 it was like opening a different game, so you have 2x .exe one with which you can play the normal diablo and one for mods.

I think it’s the same but don’t quote me on that. I’m sure there is a forum out there or a YouTube video explaining it further

The mod wouldnt work anyway, but i dont think blizzard would care as long as it does not provide you an unfair advantage in online gameplay. Interested to see what a rep has to say about it.

Need a blue post here. I need to play mods with my singleplayer experience. Wanna make sure Blizzard won’t permaban my account if I only use mods on my SP :slight_smile:

On SP I believe yes as many have already stated that SP you can mod to your hearts content but in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM are mods allowed for MP. So please keep them offline and never try using them online or you risk getting your entire account permabanned.

I’m using a mod that multiply monsters by 5 in offline ; you have to add a line command to the game for it to work anyway , like “-direct -txt”.
just remember to remove to line and relog when you want to play online
