Blizz, new hidden cooldown

Is it possible for a companie, to NOT THINK that his costumers are dumb ??
Can you at least tell us.

When you quit a game, and try to get in a game right after… if you do it fast there’s a message that says something like “internet connection, bla bla bla…” .

seriously ? can’t you put like : “Cooldown before entering your next game : 0:45 sec left”

SO your “internet connection probleme with server” type of message is how you want to deal with people leaving and joining servers too fast…

Man, companies have no more values, no principles, no morals…
taking everyone like a fool.

It’s not new at all - it was there for quite a long time

Not EVERY SINGLE GAME, i left before staying 5 minutes, in it.

Edit: This week, has been a F!@#&^ing Joke !!!

second Edit : What, because it’s been there a long time… it makes it OK ? to lie to us, and think we are dumb.

chill dude. For most of activities it doesn’t matter - it get’s annoying only if you’re jumping between lobbies pretty fast or muling. If you’re doing runs - for 98% it doesn’t matter.

I believe we receive this message because it is a generic Auth server rejection response that is built in the code and it doesn’t differentiate the reason for the rejection. To see what type of issues they are having - read the dedicated blue-post. Your blatant rage won’t help you and it won’t fix the issue either. So relax and just try to work around that until they fix the core problem… it is not good for your health to be so nervous about such small things

it’s not something to “fix”
it’s something they put in the game, cauz they don’t want people to jump between games.
and im not asking them to FIX it… im asking them To TELL US it’s a cooldown, instead of hiding it like rats.

Dude, do you know how log will take to do the proper error handler for this part? You want them spend 3,5,8,13 hours of the dev to work on it instead of using this time to develop a proper fix? Jesus…

it would letterally take 10 minutes, change the text , and put a timer…
it’s like 2 lines of codes.

Says the guy that tought it would take 3-4-8-13 hours, on just changing what’s written in a message box… and adding a cooldown. KID! sit down… you look like a fool

God, headhunters are wasting their time on LikedIn, they must look up for devs here on D2R forum. Same like for db architectors, you can find those by screams “JUST ADD MORE SERVERS!!!”

sure  Whatever you say, forum expert

Yeah, now as i said, Get lost, we don’t need your opinion here.

Would be nice to have a different message than to check your internet connection in the chat lobby.

Get into a nice flow of baal runs but if someone makes a new game because they cba with souls and you leave too quick, you’re locked out from connecting for a couple of mins, by that time its full and you’re sat there with your thumb up your arse. Really fkn infuriating man. PD2 new season in a few weeks then this crap wont be a thing anymore

if it were just those things, then yes. The problem is where it really kicks in - creating games that already exists, or joining games that doesn’t.

You get punished for that as well, and THAT is ruining public games.

not even close all the time happens

" What we are doing about it:

Rate limiting: We are limiting the number of operations to the database around creating and joining games, and we know this is being felt by a lot of you. For example, for those of you doing Pindleskin runs, you’ll be in and out of a game and creating a new one within 20 seconds. In this case, you will be rate limited at a point. When this occurs, the error message will say there is an issue communicating with game servers: this is not an indicator that game servers are down in this particular instance, it just means you have been rate limited to reduce load temporarily on the database, in the interest of keeping the game running. We can assure you this is just mitigation for now–we do not see this as a long-term fix."
