Boneskill Changes are not enough

I think the changes to the bonespear synergies aren´t high enough. For players 1 it´s fine, but putting weeks of farming into a char, to make it viable for p5+ is a goal many players have and everyone can look at videos of good equipped bone necros and the clearing time on higher playercounts… it doesn´t have to be like a lightning sorc with infinity + griffon, but there is some room in between those two scenarios. I´m afraid that´s the only time they change it and than we are done forever.

The problem with bone necro is that now is enough strong in pvp and less in pve. Imo they should increase bone dmg greatly but add magic resist like it is against fire, cold, etc. to get balanced pvm and pvp

Bone is fine not all builds are supposed to do player 8 solo. Leave this nonsense at world of Warcraft

why nonsense ? being able to farm higher playercounts equals better loot and the time to grind to an item like a griffon, death´s web, enigma, infinity is enormous in d2… time is a factor for many people and grinding your way to an enigma with a way less effective char, when you can´t afford that many hours in the game often leads to people playing sorc, java or hammerdin all the time. being able to get the gear with the char itself should be the goal and i don´t wanna make big changes to the droprates.

Bonemancer is one of the best PvP builds. These changes already push him into “OP” territory.

Nice idea and possible fix.

Most of the playerbase plays pvm, so changes should focus on this mode.

they could still use a multiplicator (smaller than 1 ^^) to change the damage of boneskills in pvp - problem solved !

Non sense and I agree, you deal magic damage which ignores literally 90% of the game immunity if not more.

As Light, cold or fire elemental based classes you are hella stricted.

No , this is what destroyed blizzard games. Most people engaged in pvp one way or another is your counter argument.
You are bad player and you should improve to compete against real people and not some weak AI dolls.

Bone is pvp char. Similar to foh. You want pvm make hammerdin and enjoy your 1 button gameplay.

why ignore the only endgame part of the game? There is always a solution for both pvm and pvp.

how i wanna play the game is my own decision… calling me a bad player doesn´t make your argument any better. i play pvp in other games. pvp in diablo has the same problem like formula 1… not everyone drives the same car, so you can´t really tell, if the champion is the best driver in the field.

So who decides, that the bonenecro is a pvp char and can´t deal more dmg in pvm because of that, when 98% of the playerbase only plays pvm. I still see no argument, why they can´t balance both modes at the same time…

I have no idea why you ask something so obvious. Game should be suitable for both pve and PvP for the simple nonbrainer reason is that so when someone gets bored of pve he does pvp.

it´s really hard to have a functional dicussion in this forum. can we just discuss, without getting called a whiner, noob etc.

my argument to just reduce the amount of bonedmg in pvp (to old levels), after a pvm buff is simply ignored. i think it´s a pretty easy fix, so both world´s can be happy (im experienceing a deja vu like in the personal loot discussions - where many people say, they just want the first drop to be personal, but the item should be tradeable afterwards and still people ignore it in discussions and are talking about how bad accountbound items are, or how the market gets flooded with items, even though people just want to share the usual drop across players)

i take back the number, noone knows actual numbers, exept that pvm is played way more often, i just wanted to show my point.

i like the char (play something else…), but i have a limited amount of time and being able to farm stuff efficiently with a lot of different builds instead of always farming with a sorc, hammerdin, java is a goal they could achieve with proper balancing and new runewords and i don´t see any logical reason, why this statement doesn´t hold true !!!

@ephixus im not calling you whiner or use those smilies to provocate… i just want an argument that looks like: introducing a multiplier that puts dmg values back to old values but enables pvm buffs doesn´t work because… but i don´t see any except calling names
