Also 200 runs in diablo 2 is just to warm up. Ive been running hell pindle with no drop for 14 hours straight. Best drop was a non-eth Titans.

you get the point, ppl nowadays watch too many “how to build ~”, “how to easy farm XXX, I got 25 bers in 2hs” and they BELIEVE that the game runs that way.
This is d2 folks, not your ~ultra easy gamer friendly mode~ games…

This game wasnt made to be easy if you go at it solo self found, but luckily theres trading to be had

What I noticed while playing with sorc is that if I kill mephisto from safe distance then he drops crap (mostly magic and some rare items). Then I respec’d my sorc to firewall main and started fighting nearly in melee range (same magic find as before) and started getting 2-4 uniques/set items per kill.
To me it looks like magic find works only when you attack in closed proximity. But maybe it’s just my false understanding.
I think, that drop is working exactly according Silospen drop calculator. For example Baal can drop everything in the game, but some items have very big chance to drop (like Sigon or Cathan craps). So people mostly whining that they have zero loot, but chance to get really nice items is so low, that you have to do at least several thousand runs to make a serious conclusion.
I did for example several hundred of runs to Andy and get Occy and 2 Shakos (one eternal), gul rune… so drop is working quiet well. But yeah…most of the time you will get craps.
uh 100 runs no key Oo… i must say i get a key i would say every 10th run…you must be rly unlucky…maybe 101 and 102 you get in both 2 keys
Nope , not new to Diablo at all . But im more worried about you now , playing för 14 hours straight is not healthy . You should go out for a bit . Take a walk or go see some friends . Or get a job .
yep, the loot is bugged big time. No to mention that Kyes do not drop AT ALL, Essences do not drop AT ALL(100+ Diablo kills and no essence). Not o mention high runes, this is the biggest probelm that kill the game effectively since some builds needs high runes, e.g. melee builds need LO rune which do not drop in tha gmae AT ALL.

yes, my mistake. I understood from another post that farming 20 years will drop a LO rune, then should be ok with the loot.

Forgot to say, in the 20 years of farming it shall be 10+hours/day, 6 days/week, allow only 1 free day on week, otherwise without respecting this time table the LO rune will not drop !!!

But I definitely feel like im seeing alot more low level shit drop (compared to original). I’m just waiting for the day meph drops a full set of sigons, won’t be surprised at all
