Dude, i bought D2R only because it was made by Vicarious Visions. Blizzard ruin everything what can get under hand. D2R is nice looking game running on terrible infra with many huge issues

Nah people are sheeps. They will pay for D4 and game will die like D3 because none of those devs worked with d2 before.
They watch their favourite streamer hype it up for 1 day and forget about it next day.

According to last quarter reports, D4 currently looks like D3. There is no reason to boycott it, it is already boycotts itself.

I’m weak. I was never going to buy and play D2R, then Path of Exile ruined their game and sent me to their competitor. I have given up on brand loyalty and deciding whether or not I should purchase something based upon its brand. If I cared who the owner of a product was, I wouldn’t be buying anything because all companies are essentially owned by the same small groups at the top anyways. Brand loyalty is just a psychological trick they pull out of their marketing bag of tricks when consulting their addiction specialists on how to further utilize people’s beliefs and mentalities against themselves. Either buy something or don’t, that is all it comes down to. Unless something truly revolutionary comes out, all of these games are nothing more than Diablo 2 reskinned anyways; they are loot drop systems with updated graphics and forgettable environments that do not capture the essential magic of Diablo 2, main example: Diablo 3.

they should simply trash d4 and make d2 playable. But no, its better to make money short term than having a stabile fanbase long term. Cus blizzard is in legal trouble afaik

Its like what D3 would have been at the first time, great combat and action with the dark/gore aspect of D2; i think the market is becoming saturated, and D4 is a must. Until then i can think in play D2R, but with all the crashes and server issues i dont know…

Then you very very patient, I can’t understand. Every xpac after BC was more or less crap, d3 was crap, wc3 reforged was crap, I’m afraid d4 may be crap.
D2 is d2, as they promised they haven’t touched it much so it is still a great game. Hopefully they find their server side bugs (remember they moved to new bnet so probably a lot of new server code) and it will be good.
Meantime can be played offline just as well. No trading, but you can mf / level great with players 8 and no lag.
You guys probably never played d2, sure old bnet wasn’t down for hours at least in a very long time but you did get the occasional RD (temp ban) when doing things too quickly which was overall a lot worse than this.
d2 was released a long time ago but I faintly remember there were a lot of ugly crashes, rollbacks and bugs, that no one seems to remember now.

indeed out of context i would say that wizard they showed was d3’s wiz. the dungeons were bright, you could see everything and the cherry on top of the sour cake was that ridiculous inferno skill that filled the entire screen. where is the “more to the ground” philosophy now?
Don’t know about you guys but they’ll need to improve a lot in december’s post to get my trust back.
