So, like, let’s say I’m level 23-ish, and I’m still using yellow gear from Andariel and one or two pieces found during A2 with requirements like level 6, level 10, etc. When do I give up farming for yellows/greens my level and just slap on a vendor blue my level, just for the defense or dps? I know that’s typically a no-no, but at some point, the bonuses the yellows give you are just gong to be outclassed. Right?
im no d2 pro but in my experience everything is about sets, uniques and especially runewords. rares are mostly only used for rings or amus and boots/gloves in niche cases. at your level for example you can wear TalEth in some random cheap body armor and it will outclass any rare you can find at that level. there are other extremely useful runewords all below/up to level 27 depending on your build
