Tittle, not everyone plays d2 all days and get all shortcut words.
Just say the name of the item and what u want easier for everyone 
I feel your pain but I don’t suppose the whole trading system will change because of your request.
Most of the abbreviations are of runewords, the shortened names are often those of very common items.
Common examples: Shako = Harlequin Crest Shako, Titan’s = Titan’s Revenge Ceremonial Javlein, Oculus = The Oculus Swyrling Crystal and so on… Tal is short for Tal Rasha’s Wrappings set, IK is Immortal King, etc. You get the idea. Most names are natural and save a lot of writing (look at the titan’s full name…). They also need to have short versions to fit in game names for ingame trades.
Names like BotD, CtA, HotO, …, … are runewords you can and should look up before trading for them since most often there are important stats that vary, and the price should vary accordingly. The point being, if you need resort to google or some go-to source to see what something’s worth, you can check the name as well.
A tip about stats: 6/6/4 CtA, for example, corresponds to the levels of the skills Battle Command / Battle Orders / Battle Cry - the order in which they are listed on the item.
As I said, I understand your pain. It’s still annoying to have to check what’s what so that you can figure out if you need it in the first place. Anyway, I hope I could provide some help.

Yea i guess atleast i will use full names when i trade
I think the more trickier ones are fcr / ed / fhr and stuff like that. (faster cast rate, enhanced damage/defense, faster hit recovery)
Unnamed’s comment is great, I also recommend you just simpling googling like “d2 eth titan” if you are lost. You can also pick up knowledge quite quickly if you lurk in forums a bit 
If youre new to a game, you have to learn the short forms of items. Users of any game with trade use this in ingame chats. And not only items and trade… special runs, areas, boss mobs are shortened.
Its up to you to learn these if you want to participate in p2p interaction.
