Can we remove the Q and go back to server crashing?

Honestly the server crashing was a better user experience. I am a data architect/sys admin for a major company.

If only their problem was lack of good engineers. Might have something to do with their paltry 60m annual budget to cover their entire global IT org.

Man I’m the fkng queue for 20 mins (N°401) and hasn’t move… It’s unbelievable… Blizz is destroying Diablo’s franchise with this student joke…

Sad, but true.

It seems that the servers crashing costs more money than spitting in the users’ face with a queue system for 2 weeks.

I am chanclain from chaclain company

I cannot play game because of this change.

There waiting till must players quit then they can open the servers back up without issue

Please leave the queue and don’t go back to crash+rollback schema. I’m Apache attack helicopter.

I have nothing to add in this topic. I am however a pretty good chef in the kitchen.

You waiting in the queue is a far better experience than me crashing and backrolling. If you hadn’t figured it out yet, I happen to be a D2R server for Blizzard company.

I would rather have an experience, it being bad or good doesn’t matter to me anymore, at the moment with queue i haven’t been able to login for 2 days in a row because queue is simply to long, and i don’t have time to wait in queue for 3 hours before being able to play if d2r doesn’t crash while in queue.

I agree. I prefered the server down over this.

Agree, the 1-2 hour waiting time to play a weekend day is making it unplayable for me, if I only want to do some shorter games… thinking about leaving computer on with D2 running to avoid it or stop playing this game…

yeah sure. i lost a Gul and a Nightwing helmet to rollbacks.
Having to wait before play sure is way better than never knowing if your last drop or trade vanishes in a Rollback.

But once you get in you don’t even know how long you will be able to play before being put in Q again. I Q today for 1 hour, played 30 minutes and crashed, and then got put in Q spot 380… 2 hours later and I’m still not in. In EU on a sunday morning? Like come on…

With the server downs you atleast knew it was fukked for a few hours so u can do other stuff lol, and once you were in you could mostly play fine. I experienced only 1 rollback and it made me have to redo most of A2 again. Annoying but I guess it could have been worse.

Isn’t it funny also how during the server downs suddenly everyone was finding HRs, Tal armors etc etc that they didn’t have time to pickup or vanished on rollback? Lol… HR’s were apparently raining from the sky those days

nope, was just the one… and its noit really that high. and the helmet wasnt a shako, just one that i deemed to be nice on my sorc… till it got rolled back.
I didnt cry bout that rune or drop either, just said i rather sit in a queue and know that when i get something worthwhile, its still there later on.
Just cause you have been low level when you rolled back doesnt mean someone else havent made several Baal runs in the same time.
You lost some progress that can be repeated easily.
SOmeone else maybe got an item that was usefull to him/her … try to repeat that in an hour.

So i stand by my opinion queues > Crashes and rollbacks

Well ITS BEEN OVER 1 AND A HALF HOURS OVER 530 IN QUE. WENT TO MAKE FOOD EAT IT AND AM STILL WAITING PLEASE GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS BEFORE YOU FIXED IT.

right how do we place a official complaint as I had made it to front of que only to be told failed to authenticate then kicked me to the back of the que again I want my money back and a proper apology from this company for there incomitances

If people could get disconnected for inactivity it would be a way to minimize those waiting in queue time. I’ve been in the game for 24hours straight and I was gone most of the night never got DC. That is a big part of the problem with the queue, DC people after 30mins of inactivity please, others what to play too! Or get new servers!
