I feel a little better that I’m not alone in this…maybe they’ll fix it then

BTW, the server can’t be reached on Nintendo Switch too. Last night when it happened on the XBOX I kept farming on my Switch for an hour or so. Both down now and as always - no news or notifications.

The above error appears both on Switch and XBOX. It’s been about 16 hours now. What’s going on - please update us. I have a day off today and I can’t play :cold_sweat::cold_sweat::cold_sweat:

Like always… thank you blizzard!

The latest output is 5 hours ago on X, stating:

Same in EU! I’m not able to connect at all, being trying to resolve it, even connected xbox to my LTE mobile network hotspot but still not able to connect. Hope that would be fixed soon. And the best thing is that I cannot connect when I’m in main menu and trying to select Online character. So at the main screen when you have to press “A” to continue, there is also a message “connecting to battle.net” and then is the main menu. So the first connection is working? Anyone from EU with same issue?

I’ve informed support about this but obviously they gave me steps to fix my connection issue… but that is not a problem, cause everything works even Diablo IV online, but not D2r. Even with completely different network from LTE mobile hotspot.

Clearly something with xbox servers going on, hope they fix that soon

Please create support tickets if you could

Yeah, I am in EU. The issue however is GLOBAL (America server also affected), on both XBOX and Switch. PC is not affected, you didn’t lose your heroes. I am not aware of Playstation’s servers.

We have no updates. I am checking both twitter (X) and here. Nothing! Nada!

I am also from UE, have issue like you 1:1.
EDIT

Fuck yea…

Hello,

In an effort to resolve these unexpected situations with the connection issues in your Battle.net Game, we’ve developed this extensive troubleshooting so that you can get back into your game as soon as possible!
To resolve any outstanding situations, we ask that you try the following steps outlined in these articles:

  1. Restart Your computer and Router/Modem: Sometimes, a simple restart of your networking equipment can resolve connection issues -
  2. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Make sure that your firewall or antivirus software isn’t blocking Blizzard’s games or services. You may need to add exceptions for Blizzard’s executables or ports -
  3. Disable Background Applications: Close unnecessary background applications, as they might interfere with Battle.net Games. Check for any resource-intensive programs running in the background and close them before launching the game -
  4. Flush your DNS cache and reset your network configuration. You can do this by opening the Command Prompt (on Windows) or Terminal (on macOS)
  5. Reinstall the Game: Uninstall the Game, restart your computer and reinstall the game. Corrupted installation files can lead to various issues, and a fresh installation might resolve the problem.
  6. Wired Connection: If you’re using a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection by connecting your computer or console directly to your router using an Ethernet cable. This can help rule out potential wireless interference issues.

Should any of the above articles not solve the on-going situation, please consider contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further troubleshooting, as they could provide more insight into these matters.
In the meantime, you can also take a look at our Game exclusive technical support forums where Developers and Players alike share their input on several situations that may be related to yours:

Bla bla bla they send same shitty “resolution” methods to everyone.

Did all the steps and nothing.

I’ve sent them forum links to our discussions hope someone will finally wake up and check servers

Hello there,

Thank you for the reports and especially those who went through the regular troubleshooting steps already to rule out other issues.

No details on this just yet, but the relevant parties are aware and investigating!

it’s obvious that the fault lies with the servers… our hardware couldn’t have failed all at once

Xbox still don’t work…

Just to close the loop this issue was resolved shortly after my previous post.

Thanks to everyone who helped raise it, and apologies for the disruption!
