I did 10 full clears of everything in both, I got 6 high runes, multiple end game items in my standard D2 playing solo on players 1. On d2r 0 high runes and barely any drops, this is with very similar MF and the same builds.
10 clears might not sound a lot but thatâs roughly 60 hours of testing because I got fed up of the d2r drops seeming off. There was once upon a time a bug where over 200 mf screwed you over, my thoughts from all this?
RNG if RNG and on d2r I just got bad RNG.
Seriously thatâs it, the uniques dropping were similar amounts as were the sets, the runes dropping were also similar quantites just not as good.
So I got the drops I just didnât get the item bases drop for me.
Nothing is wrong.
Very little drops with me. I have to say for the effort I put in over many hours, almost nothing came up. I still have an active Diablo 2 Lod account that I keep active. It was definitely more there. Thought would be alone in the world where nothing drops and again nobody speaks of but thanks for this thread. Be really great * thumbs up *.

Itâs not just you! The drop rates are generally very low, especially for top tier items. Many of them are in rare bases that barely even drop as whites.
You will hear streamers who are playing this game full-time say, e.g. that Travincal is the best place to target-farm runes up to Ber, then say that you can run Trav for 10-20 hours straight without seeing a single high rune. Similar time frames for finding rare uniques in Ancient Tunnels. And this is with a lot of optimization beyond what most players will do.
Low drop rates are probably to compensate for the lack of post-game. I donât think it would be very interesting if everybody had Enigma and Infinity after a week or two, but I admit the grind can be painful. Fortunately, the actual game is incredibly fun and there are always new characters to try, which is why many of us keep coming back.
Have to agree with this. For a while I was finding all kinds of good stuff, itâs been more than 3 weeks now with shit drops, hardly uniques, and if they are, theyâre low level noob garbage.

Mf is bugged, donât worry about other people saying its RNG, cause its not and they probably donât know stats.
Hate to break if to both of you necros, but itâs RNG.
This is a good point actually. When farming those lvl85 areas you should he at least level 90 after a couple of days. I levelled from 92 to 93 in 2 days of farming WSK and CS
Yes, MF and rune drops are buggy atm. some players got 2xBER + high uniques/day and some get nothing. Seems you are in the side of getting nothing. Hopefully will be fixed soon so no all players leave the game.

Yeah totally agree.
Also played Poker a few days ago and a friend of mine got two flushes while i not even got a single one. Should check those card drops again seems like mine were totally broken.
Better call the manufacturer to check this mess.

Yep, drops seem to be much lower in the last month. Myself and five of my friends have noticed. My one friend has since given up mf for now all together. Could just be completely random, but for all six of us playing frequently noticing the same thing⌠Who knows!

Erst vor 2 Tagen wieder mal was gutes fĂźr meinen Barbar gefunden, zumindest hoffe ich, dass die Waffe einigermaĂen gut ist fĂźr meinen Raserei Barbar ( Blauzorn ), hab bisher nur eine Waffe mit Endgame Runenwort, daher probier ich diese Waffe jetzt einfach mal in Kombination mit jener aus.

And especially if you say someone gets 2 bers per day while others get nothing. What should that bug be called, âa partying bug that decided to support a specific group of people while giving a damn about other peopleâ ? Feels like a pretty magic bug.
I have days and weeks where i get nothing neither but in the long run i do get quite some stuff. Its just very rare but not impossible

its normal. Chance to find good unik is very low, necro is not the fast character and you have only 269 mf. I playing with sorceress 400+ mf and often found green useless items. Rarely i can find useless unik hell base weapon or armor.
random is not bug its random. You need more tries then you find something good. Yesterday i found Lo and make grief. Its so imbalanced weaponâŚ
i think MF is totally broken, i always run at least 350 to 450 mf and i dont even get any decent or gg drops, people on here say its all just random , and sure it is, but those people can get bent it super sus how some people get drops and other just dont get shit. jsp has destroyed the game too as everyone things they have the best shit and sell it for ridiculous pricesâŚ
i know nothing, other than magic find does not affect whether item is exceptional or elite. finding a bunch of starting set pieces and weak uniques is probably where all your mf went in, so to me it looks like it worked. also went around with a decent 144% mf while playing with a friend on hell, angelic ring dropped 3 times. the mf worked, just not the way we wanted it to. sometimes you find crazy shit with no mf at all. the less you think about it, the more lucky you feel
