Do they apply to Skills? or only to direkt attacks? Does a charm with +lightning damage apply to the lightning skill of the sorcress? I realy like to know that.
Hm. Same for weapons. Many Sorceress staffs add damage. Does this also apply to skills?

Lightning skills on charms do not apply on the Sorceress lightning skill.
But it do apply on the Assasins dragon talon.
If it is something like 15% Lightning damage is do apply to the skill lightning and other lightning skills. But if it says 1-150 lightning damage it does not. But i does add to your basic attack and some mele skills.

Well, I feared that. But it’s obvious, that it works for melee-skills, since they use weapons. (And they at least will work on them.)
However, many staffs have +elemental damage. And at least one guide suggests stuff with +elemental damage for an act 3-merc. (the same element as the merc uses…)
And since I’m talking about charms, I was wondering about them…

Act 3 mercs are a mystery to me. I’ve used him once as a flex and put auras on him, dream dragon and bramble it was. Glorious but useless :D.
But I think it’s the %elemental DMG that boost them, and +skills are the best. Fcr too! They benefit from it if I remember correctly
Well to be honest, I like an act-3 merc best. (I realy like magic-classes… in any game.) But I use an act 2-Merc with prayer aura at the moment with my cold/lightning sorc and I’m loving it. I never ever used less healing potions… (I never used and act 2 merc before, either. I just find them boring… normally.) And my Fire/Lightning sorc will have an Ice-wolf at least until I can get an holy-ice-act-2-merc, if I ever reach that state with her.
