Good evening. Please fix this issue.
I wish to report a bug that I’ve had to live with since release. I’ll give you the exact scenario so you can replicate the bug yourselves:
OS: Windows 10
Res: Fullscreen 1080p
Chat font size: Large
Chat message background: Yes
Large Font Mode: No
Singleplayer
Game difficulty: Hell
Scenario/Replicate the bug:
Create a singleplayer game, write the number “1” in chat. Quit. Create a new game and type “2” in chat. Quit. Create a new game and repeat the process a few times.
After a few games you won’t be able to write any more messages, they will not show in the chat. You will only see the history of the chat up to the point where it stopped working as intended. This doesn’t even get fixed when I quit D2R and launch it again. Still bugged, probably only fix is restarting the PC or ending the Battle.net process.
I would be very surprised if this hasn’t been reported earlier. Please fix.
