Would you be so kind to provide your PC Specs? hard to say anything without knowing what is in use at your end.
GPU? RAM? CPU?
Lets start with those.

The game is absolutely poorly optimised and has serious issues. I cant personally play the game without fps drops and youtube messing around in the background unless I go to task manager panel (ctrl + alt + del) and into Details tab and from there choose D2r.exe priority into real time.

Also when I launch, my sounds make weird noises… I thought at first that my CPU is breaking down or something but it happens every time I launch this game but not with anything else.

Tbh this game has been the only game ive had any kind of issues since I got a new PC…Blame the cheap lazy devs. D2r was nothing but a cash grab to the Activision Blizzard. Something similar to ARK and ARK ASA with Snail games.

are your graphics card drivers up to date?
Have you tried limiting the FPS? (Nvidia control panel for example) Personally noticed that the game operated better after I limited fps to 60 instead of letting it go freely. Also changed Antialiasing Transparency into 8x (supersample) and Texture Filtering - Quality into High quality.

or have you tried to go into Task Manager (control + alt + del) to Details tab and right click the D2r.exe and change Set priority into real time

I mean, you should be absolutely fine playing the game. There is really no reason it shouldnt work. Id like to see the crash error or what ever if it provides such.

well, didnt limt the fps, will try that

Same issue, I have been trawling the forums for two weeks now trying to find a solution to my game crashing. It is 100% unplayable in its current state for me, crashes CONSTANTLY under different circumstances in game.

Tried scan and repair on game, tried limiting FPS, tried playing with various graphics settings, tried un-installing and reinstalling the game, my drivers are up to date, I don’t have other programs running…

It’s utterly maddening, I so badly want to play this game, but the crashes have only gotten more frequent.

I have an UPDATE!

I changed my nVidia drivers from Game Ready drivers to the Studio drivers and for the first time in weeks I have just played D2R for many hours without a single game crash.

I hope this works for you.

Then it seems to have something to do with the latest drivers.
To be honest with RTX from 30x and 40x series they recommend using drivers released in December 2024. Imagine that…

Personally using the newest possible with my Rtx 4080 and have no issues. It is unfortunate that some people have to suffer even though they should not.

Im glad it works now, its just really weird youd need to use Studio drivers instead of Game ready as the Studio drivers are not for gamers really

P.S
Ludi please try the Studio ready drivers instead of Game ready. It might fix your issue aswell.

Semirotta, from what I understand, the Studio Drivers are just not as up to date for the absolute latest games, whereas the Game Ready drivers are constantly being pumped out to keep up with game releases.
The Studio Drivers are however much more stable as they need to be stable for creators who cannot have any bugs or issues, they are basically the most tested and stable version of the drivers, and the Game Ready drivers are far less stable due to the speed at which they are pushed out and the lack of testing.

Indeed, your explanation is exactly correct as far as I have understood them.
It still shouldnt be a thing that the game ready causes constant crashing and studio drivers wont. Its not ok (for nvidia to do this and not fix it)

I have a 4070 TI and the game doesn’t work with the latest drivers. It keeps closing the game after a few minutes. The only solution I found was to install older drivers. The ones from April this year.
(Interestingly, I could stay in the menu for a long time, but when I entered the game, it would turn off after a few minutes.)

Try using the December 2024 release. Personally changed to that and my games have operated better…
D2r though still has issues, its the game and engine of it most likely the issue. It just cant handle everything so it crashes instead of tries to figure it out.

this is bug maybe need uninstall ?

Dude something is very messed up in your game. Might want to check the game files through the client settings. The game should NOT look like that.
