Played normally a few hours yesterday, but today it stopped working.
When tried to start a new game today, it goes into a loading screen, than I hear “Good day” (still on loading screen) and the game exits without any crash message.
Tried (nothing helped):
Offline mode works, but you can’t play with friends in offline mode, so it is basically pointless.
I play solo because of this. Can’t join a public game for more than 1 minute. Can’t even get to Mephisto every time without a crash.
I have the exact problem on my laptop, cant figure it out. I’ve tried a different driver, uninstalling/reinstalling, messing with nvidia control panel options. I create or join game and I hear a sound effect or two, like “good day” and game crashes back to battle.net app. Game works all right on desktop for the most part, but it still crashes then every so often from either me forgetting to turn off msi afterburner, or it just randomly does
Exact same thing is happening to me. Once I got to Act 2 the game no longer loads. Gets to the “good day” sound on the loading screen and it crashes. Every. Single. Time. I’ve reinstalled and tried every suggestion I’ve been able to find. Very disappointing.
We have seen a few reports of this and it has usually been caused by another program or the AMD Replay function.
