"My constructive criticism is simple: you are repeating the same mistakes made in Diablo 3 and Diablo 4. Diablo II does not need to be a ‘cash cow’ with paid annual expansions like the Warlock.
-
D2 is not WoW: We don’t want our gear to become obsolete every year, nor do we want the game ‘casualized’ just to sell DLCs.
-
Respect the original balance: You’ve broken the difficulty and the immunity system just to make content accessible and fast for everyone. If everything is easy, the game loses its soul.
-
Don’t split the community: Adding paid classes to a classic that stayed whole for 20 years is a sign of disrespect to veteran players.
You are going to crash again if you keep prioritizing quarterly earnings reports over pure gameplay. Give us back the Diablo II that respects effort and difficulty, not this $25 theme park."
