CRITICAL: Fix Non-ladder difficulty!

The #1 thing that keeps me and many others from playing this game long-term is the fact that non-ladder has lower difficulty than ladder. To clarify, monsters and bosses on non-ladder have much lower health, and mobs purportedly have slower reaction times as well.

To many of us, this means that once a ladder season ends, our ladder characters become obsolete. They may as well have been deleted, it’s the same to us. We want to know that we’re getting the full experience when we play D2R, even using the characters to test builds is pointless when you’re testing them against nerfed mobs.
This apathy bleeds over into the ladder seasons, as I cannot find the motivation to keep playing ladder and chase those perfect rolls when I know that they’ll be transferred to non-ladder once the season ends. The result is that I don’t play ladder and I don’t play non-ladder, I just don’t have the motivation to play except for in very short bursts at the start of every other ladder season maybe once a year. If you want to fix player retention for your ladder seasons, fixing the non-ladder difficulty will go a long way so that people don’t feel like their efforts on ladder will be completely wasted.
