Hi,
I have today transmuted a white War Javelin + Ral + Tal + Perfect Amethyst with the hopes for sockets. The result was an unchanged white War Javelin. The Runes and the Gem were gone.
Is this how it is supposed to be ? Can Javelins not be socketed ?

Javelins cannot be socketed.
The recipee forces socket roll on a white item
so while javelins can make a socket roll it will always roll 0
1 Tal Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Normal Body Armor = Socketed Body Armor of same type
TL;DR: pick up ethereal armors with defense of 700 or more (cannot be socketed or superior)
