So i found out that the PayPal payment is not done with blizzard (Payment on 14. August)! could this be the problem? They dont have agreed the payment via PayPal. ??? But it dont work. Not starting any D2R
So, has anyone found a solution yet!? My game is working great but my friends doesn’t even load!?

I click play but nothing happens.
paypal payment isnt the reason for this issue … i didnt pay with paypal and cant play.
One message mentioned the AVX Extension of the CPU.
A friend of mine has AVX2 my CPU does not.

Same Problem , restart , repair and reinstall whole game doesnt helped. I habe Beta tested Diablo2R with no problems to lanch.
payer 40 euros un jeu pour ne pas pouvoir jouer, par contre streamers sur twitch tout marche bien comme par hasard ? Dit moi blizzard tu les payes combien ?
Je voulais retrouver mon âme d’enfant, mon premier jeu et votre launcher ne marche même pas. Je sais pas si je dois être en colère … je sais pas … mais la je commence à vraiment m’énerver.

The reason we haven’t been communicating regarding the suspicion regarding AVX is that we aren’t sure that’s the cause just yet. Keep in mind that we’re just Customer Support - we don’t work on the engine itself so our insight into the inner workings is limited. However what I can say is that if this is the issue, it is not working as intended - AVX support was not supposed to be a requirement for the game.
Investigation continues. We’ll let you know when we hear more.

Same problem. Game do not starts. No messages with errors.
Is there anyone here who did NOT play the beta because:
“Another thing to do is try to delete your registry as some old entries from the beta version can cause compatibility issues.”
I’ve played the beta but have no idea how to delete the registration (I’m not a pro)
In Windows type Registry Editor, There you should be able to find something under Current User and Current Machine

same here, hit the play button in the launcher and it does nothing.

Also, have this problem. The game isn’t launched from the battle.net launcher. I have this message “Failed to initiate graphics device. Please ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and your drivers are up to date”
But the game launched and worked great after opening D2R.exe from the game folder.
I also had this problem on beta and wrote the same here on the forum and issue tickets inside the game.
On my leptop 16 GB Ram, intel core i7-9750H CPU, Geforce Nvidia RTX2060, also all drivers are updated. I think game should work great on this system

Yesterday I installed my pc new with complete fomation of the harddisc. so i dont have any registry from beta but there is also no d2r registry in my regedit!? is this maybe why it dont start
Dein Prozessor wird vermutlich kein AVX unterstützen. Das bedeutet, dass du genau so wie ich warten musst, bis das vom Technik-Support mit einem Update behoben ist. Ich glaube nicht mehr daran, dass das heute noch klappt.
Ach das kann an AVX liegen? Das hatte ich schon bei AOE4 Beta, da konnte ich deswegen nicht spielen. Aber die D2R Beta lief bei mir
