They have to fix it, you dont have to upgrade anything.

We only can hope they bring us a Patch, otherwise the solution would actually only be a new cpu. 
Waiting all that time for that. We are getting really late. Was expecting to be one of the first guys finishing hell and helping other peoples…
Solution will be a refund because the product isn’t what it was supposed to be, there was nowhere stated that anyone is required to have something that isn’t clear to every casual gamer or CPU user. It would be same bs lvl, as someone would require You to know engine of car inside out, otherwise they wouldn’t let you drive it.

Same. Game wont launch. Game ran fine for me on both betas. But for this. I press Play button. It says launching game… nothing happens. Then the launching game disapears. and the play button highlights again.

As mentioned by other posters, the team’s identified the problem and is working on a patch for it at the moment. We don’t have an exact ETA on when it’s going to be released but it should resolve itself for most players with a machine that meets the system requirements.
Please note that if you do not meet requirements, the patch for this will NOT fix your crashing error. It is also only to address the crashes which occur before the game client launches at all. If you see the client launch (even with a black screen), you are having a different issue and would need to troubleshoot that instead.

Same here, cannot start the game, no crash or anything, “play” button goes to launching, playing now and then back to “play”
please Blizzard, i played the beta to prevent this kind of crap.

yo tengo el mismo problema le das a jugar y no hace nada se procesa el boton azul como que va a arrancar y vuelve a poner jugar y nada asi todo el dia… menuda decepcion y mis 40 euros en su billetera… esto es como pedir una pizza y viene el tio y no te trae nada, maravilloso, la verda que estoy bastante jodido con este tema espero que tenga solucion… y para colmo estan solucionando problemas como el online y bugs de pjs pero esto que es lo mas ultrajante que yo e visto en mucho tiempo no se le ve noticia en battlenet ni nada… vamos digno de contarlo
I’m on board with this guys. Beta were just fine, /w 60fps gaming on low-res-scaling and high-contrast, it was beautiful, not it just wont’ start. Making me really sad

My pc is more than enough for minimum just cpu dont support avx… cant play at all.
It was okay at beta…

I’m in the same boat. It worked flawlessly on an older machine, i7-920 cpu and Radeon 290x. So sad that I couldn’t get my wife and I playing together at launch, had a blast together during the beta, when it worked!!!
